no. Orange and pink are not meant together. stay away unless you're a low-budget decorator decorating Mexican Drug Kingpin Houses in the seventies. If you own anything that is both pink and orange, give it to Kip and Napolean to use as doo rags.
I disagree!!!!!! It could be really cute in the right dress! Like the one Demi Moore wore to the Oscars - the original runway look was orange and white, but picture it with a light pink shade where the white is. I think it would look good!
I used to have a striped sweater that had pink, orange and red, and yes, it was awful! I do have a wristband though, which is like a rainbow and there's a pink stripe right by an orange one and it looks good! What's more, I got a compliment in the streets once, in NYC! (although it also got mistaken for a gay flag :P)
Agree - Pink is not the new orange. Orange is not the new pink. Wearing them together reminds me of that tragic time in fashion known as the early 1970s... i.e., the birth of polyester.
Maybe they could work together if they were both pastel shades. Speaking of orange, I have this adorable orange dress, but I can never think of what to wear with it. It really is a difficult color!
So can I just say that your comment? Basically made my day. You have absolutely no clue how big the grin on my face is right now - I look like the Cheshire Cat!
Loving the "Napoleon Dynamite" reference. I honestly can't imagine pink and orange working well together. They clash. :/
i mostly agree, i usually don't like things that clash, i.e., pink/red, pink/orange, etc....rarely do i come across something that goes together despite clashing, but its happened a few times, lol.
haha it's funny that you posted this today. I was working a tennis tournament today and i bought this hot pink Nike dri-fit athletic jacket a few days ago. I got dressed in the dark this morning and when I got to work I glanced down at myself and noticed I had a bright orange athletic top on with my hot pink jacket. Oh and i was wearing a neon blue FL Gators hat....pretty picture huh? I wanted to crawl into a hole!
