It's Straight

We forgive you, Lanvin for your love of H&M. Upon going to H&M in our monthly treck, we discovered that the Lanvin for  H&M line is nothing more than what it should be, the scraps from the lining of their real clothes. The H&M line is mildly lanvinish, with the forgiving, baggy, draped styles we've come to love, but lacking in the rich silks and chiffons and therefore not as hot. We've always loved Alber's styles and the fact that he reminds of Rusty Trawler (from Tiffany's), this little tease to the poor and blatant selfish publication of his new Miami store makes us love him more, although it shouldn't.
