Why We Love France

I was reading the new issue of W and I came
across an article on
Christian Lacroix. A few months ago we heard
a lot about how
the line was bankrupt and how this might be the
last show. But since
then we haven't heard any more,
but we've still seen Lacroix.
And you know why??? The French
government bailed him out.
They agreed to loan him the
money for his next line. How
great is that! Yet another
reason
to love that country.
I don't know about you, but I don't ever
see Obama helping
out a designer unless it's
Jonathan Saunders or J. Crew
for his wife.
