According to us, and possibly nobody else, having first edition books not only in your study, but all throughout your home is very posh. We have a friend that has read House of Mirth dozens of times and has several shelves full of nearly every edition/ printing of the masterpeice. We've never had the pleasure of reading the book, but from what we've heard, it's absolutely magnicicant. If anyone asks at the moment, our favorite book is Great Expectations, but in reality, our favorites are a bit more superficial.
